Our Inspiration: A Lifelong Journey of Growth
I created Full Sails because I believe learning should never end. Every individual deserves a community that recognizes their strengths, supports their goals, and provides opportunities to grow throughout every stage of life. Full Sails exists to help people build independence, meaningful relationships, and lives filled with purpose.
Our Unique Approach: Focusing on the Person, not the Diagnosis
What makes Full Sails unique is that we don’t focus on a diagnosis—we focus on the person. Rather than offering services that end when funding or age limits are reached, we provide a membership-based lifelong learning community where individuals of all ages can continue building skills, confidence, independence, and meaningful relationships. Guided by our Seven Sails™ Framework, we combine evidence-based practices, individualized learning, family partnership, and real-world community experiences to help every member navigate a life filled with purpose and possibility.

The Seven Sails™ Framework is our personalized roadmap for lifelong learning and independence. Every member’s journey is guided by seven interconnected areas of growth: Communication, Learning & Thinking, Daily Living, Health & Well-Being, Relationships & Family, Community & Independence, and Purpose & Contribution. Together, these seven “Sails” help individuals develop the skills, confidence, and meaningful experiences needed to navigate life with greater independence, belonging, and purpose.
Who We Serve: Empowering Every Individual
At Full Sails, we hope to serve children, adolescents, and adults with autism, developmental disabilities, and diverse learning needs who are looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive throughout every stage of life. Our goal is to help each member build confidence, independence, meaningful relationships, and the skills needed to participate fully in their homes, workplaces, and communities. We believe success looks different for every person, and we are committed to helping each individual achieve the goals that matter most to them.
